Beauty | Mac Haute dogs collection lipstick review

Mac have a new collection in stock... and with a dog theme! If you didn't already know, I am the crazy dog lover than doesn't even have a dog...hopefully one day!

I haven't tried one of Mac's Mineralizing Rich Lipstick's before, I seem to have always had tunnel vision for the normal collection but...now I have tried them I will consider buying them again in the future.

You can definently see a difference in the quality of the packaging and considering there is only a £5 difference in price it really does make it feel exclusive and special. They feel ceramic (i know they aren't ), heavy in weight and even they even include magnet click close.

However it does feel like a bigger purchase than the other Mac lipsticks I own and they won't replace favourites like Please Me, Creme Cup and Pink plaid.

All lipsticks available in the collection
With already 30+ pinky nudes in my lipstick draw I decided it would be best to invest in some autumnal shades.

I picked up Nose for style (red) and Labradorable (berry) How cute are those names?  All the products have a dog reference name which is totally fabulous, however, I cannot buy £200 of makeup just because of the name... so I stopped at just the lipsticks.

The advertising campaign is pretty cool with the models looking like they have just stepped out of a the dog groomers with their dog equivalents....

Both colours are very wearable, the Labradorable being more on the 'vampy' side for me but it is on trend and will compliment the vast amount of denim in my wardrobe, but I will be saving for weekends or casual days.

The Nose for style shade is a lovely warm red and is perfect for day and evenings, it's very different to the other reds in my collection and looks like it could be perfect for christmas day... oops I said it.. CHRISTMAS!

The lipsticks are long lasting and I felt I really got value for money at £21 each, luckily I got them a little bit cheaper during a 10% off beauty event in Debenhams a couple of weeks ago.

Stay tuned as I will be on my Instagram posting some #fotd snaps of me wearing them during the A/W season.
