Tortilla @Trinity Kitchen, Leeds

Hope you have had a lovely Christmas, its also a great opportunity to catch up with friends and extended family.

I met up with one of my oldest friends today, who is also a blogger Arash Mazinani and a personal stylist within Leeds Trinity.

We decided to try out the new Trinity Kitchen food stalls within the new shopping centre, Trinity Walk in Leeds City Centre (West Yorkshire, UK).

After taking a walk round all the stalls we decided on Burritos from Tortilla. It was great value for money and all you could have wished for.

Choose your meat or no meat, rice/ beans/ peppers, then cheese, sour cream, guacamole, salsa and on and on. I chose the medium for £5 but you could upgrade the size of your tortilla to large for an extra £1. I was being boring and chose still water but there was a selection of beers and fresh margarita cocktails on offer if you fancied a drink.

What a refreshing change to a food court, it was modern inside with enough tables for everyone there on a busy lunchtime. We were served quickly then grabbed a table near by.

Other options for food was Chip & Fish -  who did a selection of fish with yummy chips. Pho - Vietnamese who served a selection of noodle and soup dishes.

Some other stalls offered Breakfast Sandwiches, Crepes, Hot Dogs, Ribs & Burgers.

If you are near by and looking for something fresh and fast, try out Trinity Kitchen!

Dinner @ The Cheesecake Factory, Dubai Mall

I have been on my holidays to Dubai and while I was there I wanted to visit The Cheesecake Factory!

I hadn't been before so didn't know what to order when faced with the huge menu! I have been on a diet recently so decided that salad was the way forward... however when it arrived it was huge, I only ended up eating half and definitely no room for cheesecake.

Grilled Chicken Tostada Salad

While in Dubai, alcohol is not as widely available as it is in the UK. So over the course of the week I became hooked on fresh juices. This is me enjoying a yummy fruit smoothie!

ropical Fruit Smoothie -
(Mango, passion fruit, pineapple and coconut with blended ice)

I really enjoyed my meal at CF and the view of the Shark fish tank in the Dubai Mall was great!

Have you been before? What did you eat?

Lush 'Secret Santa' Bath Bomb!

So..... it maybe a little early to be celebrating christmas, but Lush have got the seasonal collection in, so I thought why not!

I could have gone mad there were penguins, melted snowmen, cola cube lip scrub but I had seen the Santa's grotto on Instagram and I couldn't wait to try it out.

Secret Santa (£5.75) smells yummy of lemon and lime, but it also looks super cute... however I am not sure it was worth the extra £2 compared to my usual favourite, The Dragon's Egg.

The white roof of the house was super sparkly and the orange and pink combo was a refreshing change compared to the usual red/green you see on festive specials.

I popped the grotto into a hot bath and it instantly started the melt and turn my bath bright orange.  I was watching for the little red santa to appear.. but

no one was home :-( or I must have missed him because he was meant to be there.

Once the bomb had dissolved it left my bath a beautiful tangerine colour and it was full of glitter shimmer throughout the water. It wasn't greasy nor did the glitter stick to the skin afterwards.

It also made my house smell lovely and fresh.

I will be testing out a few more festive products on the run up to christmas.

Duty Free Haul

I think I went a bit mad on my latest vacation to Portugal. Flew from Manchester Terminal 2 and with limited choice of shops to hit I ended up in the usual Makeup and Fragrance hall.

I headed straight to buy my usual foundation for the discount, so I popped to Estee Lauder for my Double wear it was £22 so only a small saving but it was still good.

One of my favourite bloggers Ruth Crilly had been raving about my next item. At the YSL counter I went to see if they had any of the limited edition 'City Drive Palette in Classy' available, and woohoo they had 1 left in the brown shades. Plenty of the yellow/green and blue which i wouldn't even know where to start to wear.

While chilling by the pool at my holiday destination @ Yellow Hotel, Lagos I picked up a copy of Marie Claire Sept 13 edition and was delighted to check out the top 25 beauty must haves! My shopping list for duty free on the return trip had started!

On the way home I picked up, Clarins 'Beauty flash balm', Dior Addict fragrance in 'Eau Delice' and Dior special edition palette 'Mystic Metallics in 864 Constellation' in purple and green tones.

What did you buy in duty free this summer?
